Digital Initiatives & SAP Implementation

• Served as department lead for the implementation of SAP-PM as part of Coal India Limited’s company-wide strategy.
• Created master data sets including equipment profiles, maintenance schedules, spare parts inventories, and task lists for 40+ equipment; coordinated training for 70+ employees in collaboration with Tech-M teams.
• Implemented department-wide RFID installation on 60 machines (?50 lakh investment), enabling real-time monitoring of fuel levels, machine efficiency, and theft detection.

Procurement

• Procured spare parts and services worth INR 5 crore from 10+ vendors to ensure smooth departmental operations.
• Conducted techno-commercial evaluation of 100+ tenders for spare parts procurement.

Managed a team responsible for goods wagon maintenance, safety compliance, fitness certification, timely inspections, and ensuring operational readiness. Achieved a turnaround time of 3 hours for over 60 trains per month through effective planning and resource management.
