  • Managed end to end of engineering services projects, starting from proposal design to on-time, on-budget delivery.
  • Managed major customer accounts to drive business continuity, new projects identification and ensured quality deliverables to customers.
  • Successfully established a new customer account from scratch and sustained the business for three years in row while maintaining a consistent customer satisfaction score >90%.

  • Successfully won multiple RFPs from global clients ($1Mn project from a European aerospace company, $500K from a marine company etc.).

  • Owned the Community of Practice bi-monthly workshop with 30+ participants from customer’s various manufacturing locations, to brainstorm innovative cost savings and improvement project ideas.
Manager, Tata Steel Ltd.
  • Lead a team of seven, consisting of engineers and scientific assistants to handle the day-to-day component failure in the giant steel plant. Conceptualized & developed frameworks for in-depth failure analysis to enable implementation of corrective and preventive actions in production line.
  • Involved in vendor audits. Developed process for testing and inspection of in-coming supply of spare parts. Saved company of a loss of $0.5 Mn due to faulty parts supply in FY14.
  • Ensured smooth operations of metallurgical labs. Involved in planning and procurement of operational consumables and spares as per the allocated budget and maintaining inventory.
  • Spearheaded multiple cross-functional improvement projects resulting in cost savings of 30 to 50 million INR annually. Published four of these innovations in international journals and presented two in international conferences.
  • Continuous process improvement champion. Undertook several employee engagement initiatives and was the contact point for initiatives such as Trainings, KAIZEN and suggestion management.
