Responsible for component design, development, packaging, validation and release of lambda and exhaust gas temp sensors for light duty and heavy duty diesel engines.
Managed engineering changes, component specifications, bill of materials, 2D drawing creation, GD&T and torque testing.
Reviewed and approved supplier DFMEA, DVP&R, Forever requirement changes, PV testing and PPAP development.
Investigated component DV/PV test failures, review 8D’s to diagnose the root cause and made appropriate design recommendations to suppliers.
