  • Responsible for component design, development, packaging, validation and release of lambda and exhaust gas temp sensors for light duty and heavy duty diesel engines.
  • Managed engineering changes, component specifications, bill of materials, 2D drawing creation, GD&T and torque testing.
  • Reviewed and approved supplier DFMEA, DVP&R, Forever requirement changes, PV testing and PPAP development.
  • Investigated component DV/PV test failures, review 8D’s to diagnose the root cause and made appropriate design recommendations to suppliers.
  • Supported various diesel plant builds and assist plant in developing assembly process, solving process issues and packaging issues.
  • Investigate field warranty issues and resolve them with quality improvements to improve warranty.
  • Data acquisition with INCA, vehicle level testing (Davis Dam & FTP 75) for emissions transparency testing and quality analysis of exhaust sensors like EGT, NOx, Differential pressure sensor and WRO2 sensor.
  • Performed benchmark on other OEM components and worked for total cost savings.
